During his time at the university, he honed his skills by hosting concerts, managing bands, and running sound at the iconic The Root Cellar, a popular house-show venue. It was here that he not only discovered his love for live sound and lighting design but also gained hands-on experience in booking, promoting, and executing events.

Many of these events took place at outdoor venues with limited infrastructure, pushing Keenan and his team to innovate and create unique, custom-built stages that transformed these blank canvases into unforgettable experiences. This creativity and drive culminated in the launch of Tetra Fest, a multi-day music and arts festival that showcased Keenan’s skills in production, lighting, sound, and talent management.
